An Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

This 2-hour workshop is $25.

This 2-hour introductory class is for anyone who would like to learn more about Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), as well as the upcoming MBSR workshops beginning Sept. 17 or 22 (Friday or Sunday mornings) while gaining extra tools that can help relieve pain and stress, and foster a greater sense of peace and ease.

The 8-week MBSR mindfulness training workshop is modeled after the one taught at the Stress Reduction Clinic developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and is being offered in partnership with the Dharma Studio and Valley Health’s Integrative Care Program.

These intimate and intensive classes are designed to help you establish your own unique daily mindfulness practice, increase joy and ease in your life, and teach you techniques that have been clinically proven to reduce – and in some cases eliminate – physical and emotional symptoms made worse by stress.
